Islamabad: The important trade route of Khunjerab Pass between Pakistan and China has been closed for 5 months. Due to snowfall on the Khunjerab Top, the border is closed on November 30th and is reopened on April 1st. On the occasion of the border closure, former member of Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly Javed Hussain and Chief Executive Officer AJ International Cargo China to Pakistan Khurram Zafar welcomed the containers coming to Pakistan. President Hunza Chamber of Commerce Daulat Karim was also present on the occasion. The Khunjerab border is closed at the end of November every year under the border border protocol agreement.
