The Israeli attacks in Gaza, which began on October 7th, have so far resulted in the martyrdom of 33,000 Palestinians and more than 76,000 injuries. The people of Gaza are celebrating Eid without electricity in the midst of bombings. Palestinian children have turned rooftops into swings in the absence of proper celebrations. The brutality and atrocities in Palestine have not gone unnoticed, as hundreds of thousands of Palestinian civilians face food insecurity and severe malnutrition. The Muslim world, like the rest of the world, stands in solidarity with Palestine during this Eid, expressing love and unity with the Palestinian people.

The acts of terrorism by Israel in Gaza have no precedent in history. The inhumane bombings and injustices faced by Palestinians have led to the resistance of Hamas and the self-defense of Palestinians. Whether Muslim or of another faith, the suffering caused by such oppression is equally painful. Despite international condemnation, countries like Britain, Europe, and the United States continue to support Israel.

The situation in Gaza is dire, with hospitals transformed into morgues, women and children bearing the brunt of the violence. The Israeli military continues its atrocities against innocent Muslim civilians, invading homes, arresting youths without cause, and inflicting all forms of cruelty. Despite this, the wealthy Islamic countries remain complicit, failing to speak out against the oppression in Palestine. It is essential for Muslim nations to unite in support of Palestine, to send a message to Israel that Palestinians are not alone in their struggle.

Islamic countries need to take a stand against Israeli aggression, using their resources and power to help the oppressed in Palestine. By prioritizing the interests of the poor Islamic nations over American and European influences, they can bring stability to the region and show the world the true strength of the Islamic community.

The responsibility lies with the wealthy Islamic nations to reform and invest in their countries, shifting away from dependence on America and Europe. Taking a phased approach to empower the poorer Islamic countries will lead to economic prosperity and strength in the Muslim world.

The current situation demands effective action from Islamic countries to stop relying on America and Europe, but to instead uplift the poorer Islamic nations. The Islamic Summit Conference must work towards unity in support of Palestine, showing that the United Nations will act to free Muslims from oppression and bring peace. In the face of injustice, the continued membership in the United Nations only leads to more harm than good for Muslim countries.
