Karachi: Former federal minister and independent candidate for Senate General Nestle Wada has said that questions have been raised about transparency in Pakistan for the past 75 years. I am an independent candidate and this is also written on my form, the decision of victory or defeat will be made on polling day. After scrutinizing his documents at the Election Commission’s office in Sindh, he said while talking to the media that I stand by the fact that Asif Ali Zardari has called me his son and I also respect him. He said that it does not matter to me whether the lower leadership of the People’s Party accepts me or not. In response to a question, Nestle Wada said that the season of independence is going on and I am an independent candidate, when the party season comes, then we will also see the party. If people from the opposition come into the government, what difference does it make, political opposition has its place but the IMF should not be used for politics, it is as dangerous as playing with the destiny of millions of people.
