Lahore: In preparation for the general elections scheduled in the country on February 8, Lahore police has fully operationalized the Election Smart Police app.

DIG Operations Syed Naseer Ali Rizvi said that the Election Smart app has been installed on the mobile phones of personnel assigned to static duty.

He said that all personnel have already been trained regarding the Election Smart Police app, and it will prove to be helpful in the peaceful conduct of the general elections.

Syed Ali Naseer Rizvi stated that the DIG Operations and the Divisional Offices will monitor the app in real time.

The DIG Operations said that Lahore police is determined for the peaceful conduct of elections, and there will be no display of weapons or aerial firing in the city under any circumstances.
