Karachi: Fast bowler Mohammad Amir of the Pakistan cricket team has worn the national team’s green jersey after four years. Fast bowler Mohammad Amir has shared a picture wearing the national team’s jersey on the social media website Instagram.
In the caption of the picture, he wrote that, starting in the name of Allah, Alhamdulillah, almost 4 years later.

It should be remembered that Mohammad Amir announced his retirement from international cricket in 2020, attributing allegations of misconduct to the PCB, but he continued to participate in leagues regularly. Before announcing his retirement, Mohammad Amir had played 36 Tests, 61 ODIs, and 50 T20 matches for Pakistan.
Later, on March 24, 2024, 4 years later, he reconsidered his decision and withdrew his retirement. Mohammad Amir had shown his availability for the national team in the T20 World Cup scheduled for September and also participated in the Pakistan Army’s Kakul Fitness Camp.
Mohammad Amir has been included in the 17-member Pakistani squad for the T20 series against New Zealand. The series of five T20 matches between Pakistan and New Zealand will begin on Thursday.
