Islamabad: The Islamic Jamiat Talaba staged a protest outside the Embassy of Afghanistan in Islamabad against attacks on Pakistani students in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The protesters outside the embassy in Islamabad raised intense slogans against Afghanistan. The students staged a sit-in outside the embassy for some time and then dispersed peacefully.
Officials at the protest said they are present outside the Embassy of Afghanistan to support innocent students, as the parents are unable to contact their children. They said Pakistani students need protection and assistance at this time, as their lives are in danger. Local people are forcing Pakistani students out of hostels. The government should immediately provide protection to Pakistani students.
