A new study in Washington has revealed that young people today are aging faster, increasing the risk of cancer. According to media reports, American researchers have found that the possibility of premature aging in individuals born after 1965 is 17% higher compared to those born between 1950 and 1954.

The research team analyzed the blood data of 149,000 people. The results showed that premature aging in adults under the age of 55 is associated with an increased risk of certain cancers.

Dr. Ruiyi Taiyan of the Washington University School of Medicine stated that various types of cancer are becoming more common in young adults at a rapid pace in the United States and globally. Understanding the factors contributing to this increase is crucial in improving cancer prevention and diagnosis in current and future generations.
