Another civilian injured in firing by dacoits in Karachi

Karachi: A civilian was severely injured in firing by dacoits during a resistance near Bakra Piri area of Essa Nagri, while receiving treatment the victim succumbed to his wounds and two more are injured.

SHO Faisal Gul of the PE Colony police station said that the incident of firing occurred in the early hours of the morning last week, in which 2 persons were injured.

He said that the injured were immediately shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical treatment where 32-year-old Farhan succumbed to his wounds without regaining consciousness, he had been shot in the back, while the other injured civilian, 36-year-old Shoaib Hussain, is under treatment.

The SHO said that the deceased Farhan was a resident of Liaqat Abad No. 10, whose body was handed over to the heirs after necessary legal formalities by the police.

It should be noted that during the current year in Karachi, the total number of individuals who have lost their lives due to firing by dacoits during a resistance has reached 40, while many others have been injured as well.
