The Election Commission of Pakistan has announced an extension of two hours for voting in three polling stations in NA-63 Gujrat and PP-28 Gujrat constituencies. This decision comes after earlier statements from the ECP that there were no plans to extend the polling time. The polling process is set to continue until 5 pm across the country, with election results expected to be broadcast after 6 pm. Meanwhile, in a separate incident, an explosion near a police vehicle in Kulachi DI Khan resulted in the martyrdom of five cops and injuries to two others. Additionally, in Gujranwala’s PP-66, a clash outside a polling station led to physical altercations between two groups. Today’s election, which began at 8 am, will see more than 128 million voters elect their representatives for the national and provincial assemblies.
