The father of a victim has stated in a first information report (FIR) that two seminary teachers, Zeeshan and Anis, sexually assaulted and tortured 14 students, including his son.

The FIR also stated that the suspects threatened students and made marks on their bodies with knives.

After the FIR was registered, the police raided and arrested one of the suspects, Anis. However, the other suspect, Zeeshan, is still at large.

In a similar incident in 2021, a seminary teacher was arrested in Rawalpindi’s Pirwadhai for sexually assaulting and torturing a student. The Pirwadhai police lodged a FIR against Mufti Shahnawaz Ahmed on the complaint of the victim’s father.

The victim’s father mentioned receiving a call from the seminary’s management to pick up his daughter, who had fainted. Upon regaining consciousness, she alleged that the teacher had been harassing her for months and had tortured her after she resisted his advances. She also stated that she was given a drug, causing her to lose consciousness and not remember what happened afterwards.
