The Azadi Tower of Tehran painted in the colors of the Pakistani flag

For the first time in the history of Pakistan-Iran relations, such a video mapping was displayed.

TEHRAN: On the occasion of Pakistan Day, the Azadi Tower in Iran’s capital was illuminated with the colors of the green and white Pakistani flag.

In Tehran, Pakistani Ambassador Mohammad Madathir Tipu participated in the ceremony at Azadi Tower on the occasion of Pakistan Day and Norouz, where a video mapping of Pakistan Day and Norouz celebrations was displayed.

It was the first time in the history of Pakistan-Iran relations that such a video mapping was shown. Along with the sounds of traditional instruments, images of Pakistan’s national landmarks were displayed and both countries’ national anthems were played.

To represent the close and brotherly relations between the two neighboring countries, Pakistan’s national flag was lit up alongside the Iranian flag. A large number of Pakistani and Iranian people enjoyed the ceremony.

Ambassador Madathir Tipu said that such events help strengthen relationships between people and cultures, and this is a historic moment in the relations between the two brotherly countries, reflecting the shared culture, history, and traditions.
