Stuart Broad Praises Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf in ‘The Hundred’

Former England fast bowler Stuart Broad expressed his admiration for Pakistani pacers Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf during the ongoing “The Hundred” tournament.

Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf are representing Welsh Fire in “The Hundred”, and Broad was thrilled to see them perform together.

During the innings break in the Welsh Fire-Southern Brave game, Stuart Broad spoke about the positive energy that the Pakistani bowlers bring to the game.

“Whenever I see a ball in the hands of Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf, I feel like something is going to happen,” Broad said. “Their emotions are high! I love the energy they bring to the game, credit to both of them for doing that.”

It’s worth mentioning that Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf have already taken three wickets each in two matches.

Earlier, Stuart Broad had praised Shaheen Afridi, calling him one of his favorite bowlers to watch in the world.

“Shaheen Shah Afridi is one of my favorite bowlers to watch in the world. He has such a great presence when he runs in, and I love bowlers who bring energy and vibrancy to their run-up,” Broad had said.

“He has such a natural skill – the way the ball swings back into the right-handers is a pleasure to watch. And he represented the Notts Outlaws this summer, which is close to my heart. He’s one of the bowlers I greatly admire, and I want to see him succeed.”
