Karachi: Senior provincial minister and Minister for Excise and Narcotics Control Sharjeel Inam Memon has stated that a crackdown against drug dealers will soon be launched across the province, with teams consisting of competent officers being formed for this purpose.

According to details, a high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, who is also responsible for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control, Transport and Mass Transit.

During the meeting, Sharjeel Inam Memon stated that teams consisting of efficient officers will be formed for the crackdown, which will be effective on a large scale against drug dealers. He emphasized the need to protect the younger generation from the clutches of drug dealers and announced that officers performing well during the crackdown will be rewarded and honored.

Sharjeel Inam Memon further added that daily operations will be conducted to ensure the complete eradication of drugs, and efforts will be made to raise awareness among the youth along with the crackdown against drug dealers.

The meeting was attended by Secretary Excise Atif-ur-Rehman, DG Excise Orangezib Panhwar, DG Excise Admin Riaz Khoso, and other participants.
