Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Mohammad Khan has said that the current situation cannot be compared to the events of 1971, nor is PTI founder Sheikh Mujeeb-ur-Rehman the one who created it.

Speaking on Express News program “Center Stage”, Ali Mohammad Khan said that the current situation cannot be compared to the events of 1971, and PTI founder Sheikh Mujeeb-ur-Rehman is not the one who created it. He clarified that this issue is political for us, and the current situation cannot be compared to the events of 1971.

The PTI leader said that we demand the acceptance of the people’s mandate, we are the largest party in the country which has been attacked by undermining democracy by snatching electoral victories.

Regarding the technical nature of Chief Justice Khosa’s case remarks, Ali Mohammad Khan said that if millions of rupees are spent, it is directly in the public interest case, today’s case should have been live-streamed but it was not explained why the case was not live-streamed?

He said that it is an important case, it does not make any sense that live-streaming is not allowed. It is PTI’s right to present as many arguments as they want for justice. The Supreme Court rejected the request to broadcast the NAB amendment case hearing live.

He said that during the hearing of the case, Chief Justice of Pakistan Khosa made remarks that the case is technical, there is no matter of public interest involved.
