Shaan Masood, the Test Captain, falls victim to injury

Rawalpindi: Pakistan Test team captain Shan Masood has been injured before the tour of Australia.
In Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, the semi-final of the Pakistan Cup was being played between Karachi Whites and Multan, during which former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed and Shan Masood collided while running. The result of this collision emerged in the event of injury to the new captain of the Pakistani Test team, Shan Masood.
This incident occurred when Karachi Whites were defending a target of 281 runs against Multan and Sohaib Maqsood was present on the batting end.
On the second ball of the ninth over, Sohaib Maqsood played a shot but due to the ball being high, both captain and wicketkeeper Sarfaraz Ahmed and Shan Masood ran and collided with each other.
After catching the catch, Sarfaraz Ahmed stood up, but Shan Masood continued to lie in the ground for a while and then sat holding his ankle. Later he left the field and then expressed concern about his injury.

Karachi Whites had won the semi-final by 43 runs. The picture of the collision with Sarfaraz Ahmed was shared by Shan Masood on his social media account with a humorous caption.
It is clear that PCB has recently appointed Shan Masood as the captain of the Test team and his first assignment is the series of three Test matches against Australia, which will start from December 14th.
