Islamabad: MQM Pakistan has announced its support for the candidates of Pakistan Peoples Party and Muslim League (N) in the Senate elections.
According to details, delegations of Muslim League (N) and Pakistan Peoples Party met at the residence of MQM Pakistan convener Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui in Islamabad.
The delegation included Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Khawaja Asif, Prime Minister for Law Tariq, Yousaf Raza Gillani and others. Members of the National Assembly MQM Pakistan were also present at the occasion.
According to MQM spokesperson, delegations of Muslim League (N) and Pakistan Peoples Party requested MQM Pakistan to vote in the Senate elections, to which Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui assured his support for the joint candidates of Muslim League (N) and Pakistan Peoples Party in the Senate elections.
