In Quetta, the Awami National Party has declared its support for the Pakistan People’s Party in the upcoming Senate and presidential elections in Balochistan. The ANP members Zamarak Khan, Senator Dawood Khan, and Senator Nawabzada Omar Farooq met with former President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad.
Senator Dawood Khan and Omar Farooq of the ANP announced their support for Asif Ali Zardari in the Senate and presidential elections, while Zamarak Khan of the ANP declared support for the Pakistan People’s Party in forming the government in Balochistan.
The Awami National Party also announced its commitment to play a more active role in the government formation in Balochistan.
