Islamabad: The FIA has arrested two suspects involved in sending objectionable material to women through blackmail.
The FIA Cyber Crime Circle conducted a major operation in Rawalpindi, arresting two suspects involved in online sexual harassment. Suspects Adeel Iftikhar and Ahsan Qayum shared objectionable images and videos of women and continued to receive money from the affected individuals in exchange for the objectionable material.
According to an FIA spokesperson, the suspects collectively received 68,000 rupees as ransom. Suspect Adeel Iftikhar also posed as an employee of a sensitive organization, and the mobile phones used by the suspects have been confiscated.
The FIA spokesperson stated that a case has been registered against the suspects and an investigation has been initiated.
