In a concerted effort to combat crime in the Moach Goth area of Kemari, a joint search operation conducted by the Police and Rangers has resulted in the arrest of 12 suspects. The spokesperson for Rangers highlighted that these individuals were involved in drug dealing, anti-state activities, and various other crimes.

During the operation, law enforcement authorities also managed to recover weapons, drugs, and stolen motorcycles from the possession of the suspects, further reinforcing their involvement in illicit activities.

Prior to this, Rangers and a specialized Police unit took decisive action, apprehending two individuals who were allegedly extorting money under the guise of a banned organization known as Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

According to sources within the police department, the arrested suspects, identified as Abdur Raheem and Farman, sent an extortion chit to a businessman accompanied by a Rs 500 note. The extortion chit demanded a sum of Rs 1.5 million, threatening the businessperson to purchase a shroud (Kafan) with the attached Rs 500 note in the event of non-payment of the extortion.

During interrogation, the police discovered that the arrested individuals introduced themselves as Mufti Noor Wali from the banned organization TTP. The authorities are currently further investigating the matter.

These recent developments demonstrate the commitment and efficacy of law enforcement agencies in maintaining peace and security within the region, and sending a clear message that criminal activities will not be tolerated.
