Protesters demand immediate ceasefire in Gaza: Photos and Social Media

New York: Jewish American protesters against Israeli attacks on Gaza have shut down New York’s central railway station. According to international media reports, hundreds of American Jews gathered at the world’s largest and central railway station in New York to protest against the ongoing Israeli terrorism in Gaza and staged a sit-in.

Due to the demonstration, the railway station was closed and train operations were disrupted. New York Police arrested 200 protesters.

Wearing t-shirts with the phrase “Not in My Name,” Jewish protesters chanted slogans against freedom for Palestinians and demanded an immediate halt to the attacks on Gaza.

Videos and images of the sit-in and the arrest of protesters at the New York railway station went viral on social media.
