According to Express News, tourists have blocked Makin Wanna Road in South Waziristan in protest against repeated incidents of dacoity in the area. Thana Ladha’s limits in South Waziristan have witnessed incidents of dacoity, where the culprits have robbed tourists of their vehicles, mobile phones, and cash amounting to lakhs of rupees. The tourists blocked Makin Wanna Road after the incident and stated that the dacoits looted them at several locations, including individuals in police uniform who took away more than fifty smartphones and lakhs of rupees. The tourists mentioned that no FIR has been filed by the police. On the other hand, the police have expressed ignorance about the entire matter.
