Mumbai: The tragic death of innocent children in Gaza has saddened Bollywood actress Pooja Bhatt. She shared a poem by renowned Palestinian poet Khalid Juma on the social networking site, X, which mentions these children who became victims of Israeli bombings. Along with a screenshot of the poem, the actress and filmmaker also included a broken heart emoji to express her sadness.
During the one-month period of Israel’s brutal attacks on Gaza, 9,770 Palestinians have been martyred, including 4,880 children, while nearly 25,000 people have been injured. The bombings have deprived hospitals of medical assistance for the wounded, and Israeli attacks are also ongoing on the western shore, resulting in 152 Palestinian martyrs and 2,100 injuries.
