Peshawar: A police officer was martyred in the firing of armed individuals in the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to details, during a search operation on Tila Band Road in the Badhber area of Peshawar, armed individuals opened fire on the police party, including the Additional SHO.
In response to the firing of the armed individuals, the officers also took counter action, resulting in an exchange of fire from both sides. According to the police, one officer was martyred in the firing of the terrorists. The body of the martyred officer has been shifted to the hospital for formalities.
The martyred officer has been identified as Constable Tauseef. After the incident, a large number of police personnel arrived at the scene and started a search operation to arrest the terrorists by collecting evidence.
