UK authorities are on the hunt for Malik Irfan Sharif, the father of Sara Sharif, a 10-year-old girl who was found dead in their family home in Surrey. The murder occurred on August 10th, and it is believed that three individuals, who were acquainted with the victim, bought one-way tickets to Pakistan the day before her body was discovered.

Travelling to Pakistan with several minors, the trio, including Sharif, is now being pursued by police. Sharif’s brother has confirmed his recent return to Pakistan with his family, but he is currently in hiding. According to Jhelum police officials, they have been ordered to arrest Sharif by senior officers.

The Surrey police force has identified Sharif, his partner Beenish, and Sharif’s brother Faisal as the three individuals they need to speak to in connection with Sara’s murder. A post-mortem examination revealed that the girl had suffered multiple and extensive injuries, likely inflicted over a sustained period. This new information has significantly changed the course of the investigation.

Detective Superintendent Mark Chapman of the Surrey police has urged the public to provide any information they may have, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to aid in the search for the suspects.
