PIA CEO sends motivational letter to employees in anticipation of privatisation

In the midst of a financial crisis, flight closures, and ongoing privatisation process, PIA CEO Amir Hayat has written an open letter to motivate the employees.

Hayat emphasizes the need for organizational compliance and teamwork as the airline approaches privatisation, with a focus on resource conservation and the safety of flight operations.

Hayat encourages employees to work together diligently to bring PIA back to normal operations worldwide, expressing confidence in the airline’s revival and promising better times ahead.

In related news, a four-member committee has been formed to assist stakeholders during the privatisation process of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

The strategic business team, which includes members responsible for fleet planning, budgeting, commercial affairs, and legal services, will support the CEO of PIA in gathering and providing the necessary information to the privatization commission and other stakeholders.

A formal circular has been issued by the Chief of Human Resources (HR) to establish the team.
