Lahore: The Chairman of PCB has formed a 7-member new selection committee which includes Waqar Younis, Kamran Akmal, Mohammad Yousuf, Abdul Razzaq, and Asad Shafiq.
Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi, during a press conference in Lahore, said that there will be no chairman of the new selection committee, and the team captain and head coach will also be members of the selection committee.
In response to a question, he said that work is ongoing on the coaches and once the names are finalized, they will be announced, while the decision on appointing the captain will be made by the selection committee.
Mohsin Naqvi said that the policy of playing more than two leagues besides PSL for the players will remain in place.
The Chairman of PCB said that Haris Rauf has accepted his mistake so his central contract has been reinstated.
