The Pakistan Army has sentenced two retired officers to 14 and 12 years of imprisonment respectively on charges of inciting military personnel to mutiny. Major (R) Adil Farooq Raja and Captain (R) Haider Raza Mehdi were both given the sentence through a General Court Martial. According to an ISPR spokesperson, their ranks have also been stripped under the punishment, effective from November 21, 2023.
