It also paid tribute to frontline humanitarian workers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Additionally, the Senate called on the Government to enhance its support for humanitarian efforts, both within the country and beyond, through diplomatic, financial, and logistical means, in collaboration with other governments and multilateral organizations. The House also adopted a resolution expressing concern over the situation in the areas of Dasu and Diamer Bhasha dams and recommended the recruitment of locals in the projects as per the fixed quota for them. It urged the government to take necessary steps to utilize the allocated funds for construction of roads, schools, and other facilities in the affected areas in consultation with local elders of Kohistan on a merit basis.
