A recent committee meeting headed by Robina Khalid has revealed shocking irregularities in nursing colleges across Sindh.

During the meeting, committee member Jam Mahtab Hussain Dahar disclosed that more than 90% of nursing colleges in Karachi, Khairpur, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, and Ghotki are operating fraudulently, with incorrect documentation.

Robina Khalid expressed concern over the Nursing Council’s disregard for the well-being of innocent individuals, as their records were also found to be inaccurate.

In addition, the committee discovered that numerous nursing colleges are operating without affiliation to any governmental body, and shockingly, a peon is running a nursing school in Shikarpur.

Earlier, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) apprehended three individuals who were operating a counterfeit institute called Pakistan Nursing Council. The FIA took action based on a complaint filed by the regulatory body of the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).

The arrested suspects were found to have set up offices in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), registering more than 18 colleges. They issued fraudulent nursing diplomas, degrees, and nursing cards to residents of both provinces, as confirmed by the FIA.
