Today, on the 9th anniversary of the tragic terrorist attack on the Army Public School Peshawar, the nation observes the sacrifices of around 150 individuals who were martyred on that fateful day. The inhumane attack in 2014 resulted in the loss of over 140 lives, including students and teachers. Various activities and functions will be held across the country to remember the innocent children who lost their lives.

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar reiterated the nation’s resolve towards peace, while Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari paid tribute to the martyrs and expressed solidarity with their families. He also emphasized the party’s determination to eradicate extremism and terrorism from the country.
