The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) announced on Sunday night that all four patients of the new sub-variant of Covid-19 in Pakistan have fully recovered. Caretaker Health Minister Dr Nadeem Jan confirmed that all four patients were suffering from the JN.1 sub-variant of Omicron and had recovered without any complications. The border health services department is fully functional and screening people at all international airports and borders. Dr Jan also advised people to wear masks and maintain social distancing during the winter season, despite 90% of Pakistan’s population being vaccinated.
