Actor Nazish Jahangir has come forward to clarify her previous statement regarding her fellow showbiz personality Alizeh Shah. In a recent interview on a private news channel with Momin Saqib, Jahangir explained that her earlier statement, which was made on Nadir Ali’s podcast, had been misconstrued and twisted by bloggers and entertainment pages to create controversy.
During the podcast discussion about beauty and cosmetic procedures, Ali had mentioned Alizeh Shah as an example, stating that she used to have a cute and innocent appearance but had lost some of that innocence after a recent transformation. Jahangir had shared her own experience of meeting Shah on a drama set, saying, “She used to be very pretty, and the one time I met her on a shoot, she looked almost like a doll with those big eyes and clear skin.”
However, this statement was twisted to be reported as “Nazish Jahangir said, ‘Alizeh Shah was very pretty before surgery’.” Addressing this controversy, Jahangir clarified that it is not her business what anyone chooses to do with themselves.
In a message directed towards Shah, Jahangir added, “Alizeh, you are pretty, my love.” She also emphasized that she is not bothered by such issues and has no interest in anyone’s personal affairs.
