Karachi: The Muslim League (N) has finalized the initial formula for forming a government in the federation. According to the initial formula of the Muslim League (N), if the allied parties are willing to give the position of Prime Minister to the Muslim League (N), then the President and Speaker could be from the Pakistan People’s Party, while the position of Deputy Speaker could be given to an elected member of the Muttahida Movement Pakistan or any other allied party.

The Muslim League (N) could have control over the federal cabinet and treasury, but the allocation of other ministries after the formation of the federal government will be done after consultation with the allied parties. The nominations for the Chairperson of the Senate and Deputy Chairperson of the Senate could be decided after consultation with the allied parties following the Senate elections.

The Muslim League (N) has held extensive consultation on this initial formula. The final formula for forming the government could be decided in further meetings with the allied parties. Changes in this initial formula will be made in consideration of the political situation.

Consultations on the formation of the coalition government will be conducted by Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif, Asif Ali Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, and others.

An important source of the Muslim League (N) has stated that the party’s leaders have had contacts and meetings with the Pakistan People’s Party, Muttahida Movement Pakistan, and Jamaat-e-Islami, but at present, initial consultations have been held on the formation of the coalition government.

It has been learned in this regard that the Muslim League (N) wants to hold the position of Prime Minister. If the parties involved in the possible coalition government are in agreement, then the position of Prime Minister could be given to the head of the Muslim League (N), Nawaz Sharif. If the possible allied parties nominate someone else, consultations could also be held on that. If there is no consensus, then Shahbaz Sharif could be the alternative candidate from the Muslim League (N).

If the Pakistan People’s Party does not reconsider the nomination of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for Prime Minister, then the Muslim League (N) could decide to support Bilawal Bhutto for the position of Prime Minister. It is said that if the Muslim League (N) gets the position of Prime Minister, then the division of other important ministries, including President, Speaker, Deputy Speaker National Assembly, will be done through consultation.

The efforts of the Muslim League (N) are that a joint committee of all parties should be established on the formation of the coalition government, which will carry out final consultations and make recommendations and decide on the formation of the government. It is said that consultations on the formation of the government are ongoing. The possibility of a presentment on this matter is possible.

The sources of the Muslim League (N) say that a sufficient number of independent members are in contact, and it is possible that they could soon announce their inclusion in the Muslim League (N).

The sources of the Pakistan People’s Party say that in collaboration with the Muslim League (N) and other parties, the decision to join the coalition government will be made in light of the recommendations of the party’s Central Executive Committee by Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Currently, the effort of the Pakistan People’s Party is to bring the independent members to their camp.

The sources of the Muttahida Movement Pakistan say that the decision to join the coalition government will be decided through consultations with the party leaders, and initial discussions have already taken place. Further progress will be made in soon coming consultations and meetings.

The sources of the Jamaat-e-Islami say that the matter of joining the coalition government will be discussed with the party leaders, and the Muslim League (Q) will also be included in the formation of the government.

On the other hand, the sources of the PTI say that if independent members are included in the Muslim League (N) or Pakistan People’s Party, then legal and constitutional options will be used. The PTI will soon initiate political contacts for the formation of the government. Currently, they are actively working to bring independent members to their camp.
