Karachi: Mayor Karachi, Murtaza Wahab, has been elected as the Chairman from the 13th ward. According to unofficial and provisional results, Murtaza Wahab defeated the Jamat-e-Islami candidate Noor-ul-Islam. Murtaza Wahab secured 3976 votes, while the Jamat-e-Islami candidate obtained 1566 votes.
Upon Murtaza Wahab’s victory, his supporters celebrated with joy. They danced and rejoiced in the success. Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab also joined the celebration and addressed the workers of the People’s Party, stating that today it has been proven that no matter how many Bhuttos you try to eliminate, Bhutto’s legacy will always prevail.
Murtaza Wahab commented on the win, saying, “What a response by Naem Bhai! Today’s victory is just a trailer, as the general election is yet to come. In the upcoming general election, the People’s Party will succeed, and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will be the next Prime Minister.”
