Multan: Police in the Seetal Madi police station have arrested a notorious drug dealer, Yasar, but he could not be found. The police recovered 600 grams of heroin from the suspect’s wife, Faheem Bibi, and filed a case against him.
When the suspect was taken into custody, his 7-year-old daughter was also with him. Upon the mother’s insistence, the girl was also kept with her in custody.
Upon receiving information about the girl being kept in custody, Multan CPO Saadat Ali took strict action, suspended the night shift in-charge Khuda Bakhsh, and ordered the filing of a case. The investigation officer, Sub-Inspector Asghar Ali, was also suspended and charged.
The Multan CPO also ordered to charge the SHO and instructed the newly appointed SDPO, Dr. Anam Tajammul, to conduct an inquiry into all matters and submit a report immediately.
The Multan CPO stated that strict action will be taken against the officials involved in this case after conducting an inquiry.
