Partnership to Enhance Collaboration and Prevent Cyber Crime in Pakistan-FIA, SECP
Rawalpindi/Islamabad: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to exchange information and promote collaboration for capacity building. The signing ceremony of the MoU took place at the SECP head office in Islamabad. The Director General of FIA, Mohsin Hasan Butt, and the Chairman of SECP, Aaqib Saeed, signed the agreement. The aim of the partnership is to prevent cyber crime and fraud in Pakistan’s digital financial system. Both organizations will work together on developing expertise, gathering forensic evidence, and effective sharing of resources. Regional focal persons will be appointed to ensure the realization of this objective and facilitate the exchange of information.
