Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Khan will visit the national team’s fitness camp. According to Express News, meetings with players and iftar dinner are also planned with PCB Chairman Mohsin Khan. It is usual for the PCB head to fulfill his responsibilities as Interior Minister throughout the day and then go to Lahore to attend PCB matters at night.
Last night, Mohsin Khan held meetings for 4 hours to finalize PCB matters, reaching an agreement on handling the matters of captains and coaches promptly.
Chairman PCB will also take time out to go to the Kakul training camp with selectors and meet players and have iftar together.
On the other hand, former Australian cricketer Jason Gillespie, a strong candidate for coaching, is scheduled to arrive in Lahore next week, while Yasser Arafat, who was associated with the Pakistan cricket team in the past, is also included in the list of approved coaches.
Taking advantage of the services of foreign coaches along with Pakistani coaches will benefit the national team, and there also needs to be an appointment of a new manager for the team.
