In a press conference in Dera Ismail Khan, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, has warned that load shedding in the province will not be tolerated and no extreme actions will be forced upon us.

Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur stated during the press conference at his residence in Dera Ismail Khan that the people of my province will not tolerate being called electricity or gas thieves. We will not tolerate illegal load shedding of electricity and gas in the province. He said that people in tribal areas have nothing to eat and we will not burden them any further. I want to provide relief to the people, for which we have started taking initiatives. Our efforts are to improve treatment and other facilities in government hospitals.

Ali Amin Gandapur said that the people of the province are already distressed and are receiving very high bills for gas and electricity. We have asked the federal government for our share, not charity. The duties of the people of our province should be fulfilled immediately.

He said that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will start movements against the federal government if their rights continue to be violated, as we are facing continuous injustices. The federal government should return the 1510 billion rupees to the province. The Chief Minister stated that despite the violations of the law and the constitution against us, we want to forgive everyone and move forward, we will not forgive those who work against the law, not government officials.
