During the Nikah ceremony, a shooting incident occurred resulting in an attendee getting injured and the groom, Adnan, who was marrying for the third time, receiving fatal gunshot wounds and passing away at the scene. The shooter managed to flee the scene, according to police officials.
The Inspector General (IG) Punjab has taken note of the incident and requested a report from Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sargodha. The IG has also instructed the RPO to form a special team to capture the suspects. Additionally, a case has been filed on the victim’s brother’s complaint.
