Khadija Shah to remain in custody as remand extended in Jinnah house attack case

Protests erupted nationwide on May 9 following the arrest of the former prime minister in the Al-Qadir Trust case.

Aliya Hamza, Rubeena Jamil, and others appeared before the ATC judge after their judicial remand expired today.

The court extended their judicial remand for 14 days and ordered the police to present the accused again on November 28.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist and former finance minister Dr. Salman Shah’s daughter, Shah, is currently in jail on judicial remand.

The daughter of former finance minister Salman Shah and fashion designer Khadija was arrested in the Jinnah House attack case after the May 9 protests.

Shah reportedly surrendered before the SSP CIA police Malik Liaquat in Iqbal Town Lahore.
