Karachi: Police Action to Control Robbery, Two Dacoits Killed and Five Injured

Karachi: To control crime in the city of Quaid, the police have started a vigorous action, resulting in two dacoits being killed within an hour while five others were arrested in injured condition.

According to details, in the Gulistan Johar area, police killed 2 suspects in an encounter while capturing one robber in injured condition. A police officer was injured due to suspects firing.

Near Nepa Chowrangi, three suspects on a motorcycle were fleeing after a robbery when four officers on two motorcycles signaled them to stop near the AGPR office in Block 10 of Gulistan Johar. The suspects opened fire on the police officers.

As a result of the firing, Police officer Afzal Nasir was injured, and the suspects attempted to flee but after a pursuit by the police, a retaliatory firing ensued which resulted in two dacoits being killed and one injured.

Initially, the identities of the deceased and injured could not be ascertained, but they were taken to Jinnah Hospital for necessary action by the police. The SHO of Gulistan Johar, Malik Abid, mentioned that upon the arrest of the deceased and injured, three pistols, stolen mobile phones, and a motorcycle were recovered. The injured officer has been shot in the leg and has been transferred to a private hospital.

The ages of the deceased and injured were estimated to be between 25 and 30 years old.

In the Naderan Baig Pass Chalguzi Kat area near Manghopir, police encountered three suspects – Dilsher, Ijaz, and Iqrar – and captured them in injured condition, recovering weapons and stolen items. The injured were immediately taken to the hospital.

In the New Karachi area, near Sector 16 B-Nadi Town, police encountered a suspect Abdul Qadir, capturing him in injured condition and recovering weapons.
