Karachi: One crore cash and mobile phones stolen from a shopkeeper by robbers fleeing

In Karachi, near Site Area, motorcycle-riding dacoits robbed a shopkeeper of one crore rupees in cash and mobile phones before fleeing. Upon receiving information about the incident, police officers arrived at the scene, where a large number of citizens also gathered and began protesting, expressing deep sorrow and anger over the incident.
SHO Site A, Afzal Khanzada, and SDPO Site Division DSP Jan Khan Niazi also arrived at the scene and obtained information from eyewitnesses. In this regard, DSP Jan Khan Niazi mentioned that they spoke to the affected citizen who informed them that he owns a mobile phone shop in Banaras and was on his way to the shop on a motorcycle with one crore rupees in cash and some mobile phones, as he had a business deal near an petrol pump in progress.
He also stated that they are trying to obtain CCTV footage to help apprehend the culprits soon. It should be noted that on 8 April last month, near the Metroville Block 4 Fatima Masjid, motorcycle-riding dacoits in a white Suzuki Alto car ambushed and fired at poultry farm company employees, 30-year-old Zaheer and 55-year-old Sher Alam, killing them, and fled after stealing a bag filled with one crore and 35 lakh rupees in cash from the car, which the victims were carrying to deposit in the bank.
