People with a Smart Card can now pay their fare through the Auto-Med fare collection system instead of cash. The Smart Card system is currently operational in People’s Bus Service and will soon be expanded to other public transportation. Sindh Information Minister Shaji Inam Memon announced that the Transport Department has launched an automated fare collection system, allowing passengers to pay their fare through a Smart Card.
