A passenger attempted to smuggle more than 2.5 million rupees worth of currency and a large quantity of gold on a Banka Air flight from Karachi Airport. Imran Gul Awan, the passenger traveling on the Banka Air flight, had hidden 251 grams of gold and foreign currency including US dollars, Hong Kong dollars, Yuan, and Riyals in his bag.
