Kamar de los Reyes, a television, movie, and voice actor from Puerto Rico, passed away in Los Angeles at the age of 56. He was best known for his role as a gang member-turned-cop in the soap opera ‘One Life to Live’ and as a villain in the video game ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops II’. He died following a brief battle with cancer, according to a statement from his wife’s publicist. At the time of his death, he was filming ‘All American’ and had recently worked on Marvel’s upcoming ‘Daredevil’ series and Hulu’s yet-to-be-released ‘Washington Black’. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Las Vegas, de los Reyes had a passion for acting and appeared in various roles on stage, in television, and in movies. He also remained dedicated to his Puerto Rican roots and was active in the recovery efforts after Hurricane Maria. He is survived by his wife and three sons.
