A recent incident at Sea View beach left a group of picnickers stuck in their jeep when it got caught in the sharp waves of the sea. Despite the efforts of lifeguards to prevent the driver, Faheem, a Nazimabad resident, from driving the jeep into the water, he insisted and ended up in a hazardous situation.
The vehicle remained trapped in the sand for several hours, causing inconvenience to the picnickers. The South Karachi Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Shiraz Nazir, stated that it is not the police’s responsibility to retrieve the jeep from the water. He added that the relevant authorities have been informed and are working to rescue the stranded jeep.
