Israeli Prime Minister blamed the unsuccessful attack by Hamas on the incompetence of his security forces in a statement on social media, but deleted the tweet shortly after apologizing. According to international news agencies, the Israeli Prime Minister had named the national intelligence agency and armed forces responsible for the Hamas attack on his tweet on October 7th. In his tweet, Netanyahu acknowledged the failure of the armed forces and intelligence agencies, blaming the public for bearing the consequences. He had also strongly questioned the security establishment. However, a few hours later, the Israeli Prime Minister retracted his statement and deleted the tweet, seeking forgiveness from the military leaders in his new tweet. It should be noted that after the tweet about the security forces, the Israeli Prime Minister was heavily criticized. Former prime ministers and opposition leaders had said that Netanyahu had crossed the red line. The opposition leaders had stated that the security forces have made great sacrifices for this land and are still defending the country on all fronts, and the Prime Minister should stand with the army at this time.
