An operation was carried out in the Tirah area of Khyber District, resulting in the killing of one terrorist and the capture of two others after a fierce exchange of fire. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that these terrorists were actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and the targeted killings of innocent civilians. Weapons and ammunition were also seized from them.
In a separate incident, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) detonated in the Sarwekai area of South Waziristan District, leading to the martyrdom of two brave soldiers named Sepoy Banaras Khan and Sepoy Abdul Karim. A sanitization operation is currently underway in the region to eliminate any remaining terrorists.
The ISPR emphasized that Pakistan’s security forces are committed to eradicating terrorism, and the sacrifices made by our brave soldiers only strengthen our determination.
