Several law enforcement agencies and two civilians lost their lives in an encounter against terrorists in Balochistan’s Mach and Kolpur area. The military’s media wing reported that security forces managed to prevent three coordinated attacks by terrorists using rockets and advanced weaponry in Mach town, located 70 kilometers from the provincial capital. Initially, the attack was attributed to terrorists affiliated with the Aslam Acho group, but later, the Majeed Brigade of the proscribed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility. The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that security forces swiftly responded to the attack, resulting in the deaths of nine terrorists, including three suicide bombers, and the injury of three others. In the process, four members of law enforcement agencies and two civilians also lost their lives in the exchange of fire. A final clearance operation in Mach is currently underway. The incident has prompted Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki to direct the Home Department to utilize all resources to restore peace in the area. Meanwhile, interim Balochistan Information Minister Jan Achakzai commended the efforts of the Pakistan Army and Frontier Constabulary Balochistan in thwarting the terrorist attack. He revealed that five BLA terrorists had been neutralized, ensuring the safety of citizens. Balochistan Home Minister Mir Zubair Jamali also strongly condemned the attack and pledged that all individuals involved would be brought to justice. Multiple targets, including the railway, police stations, and the central jail, were targeted in the attack. getProperty=”og:title” content=”Four security personnel, two civilians martyred in terror attack on Balochistan”>
