Rawalpindi: Interpol conducted an operation and arrested the wanted suspect in a fraud case. According to the spokesperson of Interpol, the suspect was arrested from UAE and transferred to Islamabad airport. The arrested suspect Sabir Mahmood was wanted by Mianwali police. A case of fraud was registered against the suspect in 2020.
Interpol Pakistan, in coordination with NCB Interpol Pakistan, had issued a Red Notice for the arrest of the suspect. Later, the suspect was handed over to the relevant police authorities at Islamabad airport.
The transfer of the suspect to Interpol Islamabad was made possible due to cooperation between Interpol Islamabad and Interpol Abu Dhabi.
